Miss World 2016 contestants met the children from the US Dream Academy. The contestants arrived at the Gaylord Convention Centre to meet 112 children from US Dream Academy, aged between 8-17 years. US Dream Academy is an afterschool program that works to provide opportunities for underprivileged children via mentorship, education and community building.

As part of the Preliminary Activity, around 40 contestants of Miss World 2016 will be taking a trip through Virginia on 5th December 2016. The journey is scheduled to start from Charlottesville and will then move on to Richmond. The contestants will explore points around the city in Richmond, including the Capitol, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden.

At the splendid finale of Miss Polski 2016 held on 4th December 2016 Paulina Maziarz was crowned as the winner. Oktawia Kaźmierczak was titled the first runner-up, Urszula Jankowska made it to the second runner-up, Judyta Zapędza was adjudged the third runner-up and Aleksandra Dobrzyń finished as fourth runner-up.
