Catalina Duque wore Fernando Marín’s gold gown on 27 November 2025, the night she was crowned Miss International at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo. Marín called the piece a jewel made from her wish to win for Colombia.
What the crowning photograph shows is a strapless column, the bodice a sweetheart of gold sequins, the skirt continuing the same light. She wore it with the Colombia sash and, a few minutes later, the crown.
Duque is Colombia’s fourth Miss International, and the country’s first in twenty-one years. The gown was the last dress of the competition, not a later appearance.
