Fátima Bosch wore this gown in the evening-gown round of the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary in Bangkok on 19 November 2025. Trino Orozco and Manuel de la Mora built it in Mexico. Bosch described it as the true gold of the country: maize.
The neck is high and closed. The skirt is a column of scalloped beadwork, open in a slit at the leg, with a fringe of beads falling from one arm. The colour is a hard yellow-gold, meant to read as corn and as the light at the end of a Mexican day.
It is the preliminary gown, not the red dress she wore in the final. Two nights later, on 21 November, Bosch was crowned Miss Universe 2025.
