Iris Mittenaere was crowned as Miss France 2016 after defeating 30 other contestants at Zénith Arena de Lille on 19th December 2015 in the 86th edition of Miss France by the outgoing queen, Camille Cerf. Miss Martinique, Morgane Edvige was adjudged as the first runner-up, Miss Tahiti, Vaimitu Teiefitu was announced as the second runner-up, Miss Provence, Julia Courtès was declared as the third runner up and Miss Réunion, Azuima Issa was titled as the fourth runner-up.
