An evening of elegance and style kicked off with the evening gown competition of Miss Earth 2014 pageant held on November 17’ 2014, at three different locations. The competition commenced in three different groups each having different contestants. The competition of first group was held at Level 8 Cebu City, which saw beautiful women of Miss Earth 2014 pageant paired up with equally beautiful gowns. Alankrita Sahai from India bagged the gold medal followed by Zaira from Spain and Hereata Ellard from Tahiti being awarded with silver and bronze medals respectively. The competition of second group was held at Oakwood Premier Joy-Nostalg Center Manila, with stunning ladies flaunting their dazzling gowns. Letícia Silva from Brazil won the gold medal; Valeriia Poloz from Ukraine came at second place winning a silver medal and Cartier Zagorski from Zambia was awarded with a bronze medal. In the third group of evening gown competition which was held at Crimson Hotel, the contestants walked the ramp in their ravishing gowns leaving the spectators in awe. Anastasia Trusova from Russia bagged the gold medal; Maira Alexandra Rodríguez from Venezuela secured the silver medal and Andrea Neu from United States of America was placed at third with a bronze medal. One of the Big 4 beauty pageants; Miss Earth 2014 has officially set on fire from November 7’ 2014 Quezon City, Philippines with the arrival of 89 delegates from around the world in race for the coveted Miss Earth 2014 crown. This is the 14th edition of the Miss Earth beauty pageant. Miss Earth 2014 pageant will be packed with adventure, fun, excitement and learning sessions for the gorgeous ladies. As the theme “Beauty for a cause” suggests, the event will be promoting ecotourism which aims to raise awareness among the tourists and travellers regarding ecological balance and conservation of resources in order to directly benefit the economic development. The main event commenced with the orientation of the delegates held on November 10’ 2014 at Green Sun Hotel, followed by visits to various schools and tourist places that in turn enhance their knowledge regarding eco-friendly activities. Stephanie de Zorzi has been dethroned of her title as Miss Venezuela Earth 2013, and Maira Alexandra Rodríguez has been appointed in lieu to represent Venezuela at the upcoming Miss Earth 2014 pageant to be held on November 29' 2014 in Manila, Philippines. Maira Alexandra Rodríguez was recently crowned Miss Earth Venezuela 2014 at the finals of the Miss Venezuela 2014 pageant held on October 9' 2014, and was supposed to represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2015 pageant next year. However, due to dethronement of Stephanie de Zorzi , she will now compete at Miss Earth 2014 instead. Stephanie was stripped off her title as Miss Venezuela Earth 2013, which was apparently due to her gaining a few more pounds after a modeling job in México, and was consequently replaced with Miss Venezuela Earth 2014 Maira Alexandra Rodríguez.Maira, who represented the province of Amazonas at Miss Venezuela 2014, won the Miss Earth Venezuela title, and also received the special awards for Miss Confianza (Miss Confidence) and Miss Elegancia (Miss Elegance). The sudden appointment leaves her with very little time to prepare for the international pageant, and she will now need to put in serious efforts to become a strong contender for the Miss Earth 2014 title.

Punika Kulsoontornrut of Thailand has been dethroned from her title of Miss Earth Water 2013, a title which she was awarded at Miss Earth 2013 pageant held last year in Philippines. She ceases with immediate effect to be the reigning Miss Earth Water after being dethroned by Philippines-based organizers of the pageant, Carousel Productions, Inc., for violating her contract as a titleholder. Her dethronement was on the ground of her joining another pageant, Miss International, during her one-year reign as Miss Earth Water 2013, which was in violation of her standing contract as Miss Earth Water 2013. As per the organizers, she was informed of the same and was asked to withdraw from Miss International pageant, which she failed to do by the deadline stipulated by the organizers resulting in her dethronement. Punika is expected to compete at Miss International 2014 pageant to be held on November 11' 2014 in Tokyo, Japan.

At the final gala night of Miss Serbia 2014 (Mis Srbije 2014) pageant held on October 8’ 2014 televised on RTV Pink, Mariju Ćetković from Vrbasa was adjudged the winner of Miss Serbia 2014, and was crowned Miss World Serbia 2015.
