Refilwe Mthimunye, Miss South Africa 2015 first runner-up has finally spoken out about the Miss Universe 2015 blunder.

While Margaret Gardiner is the only South African to wear the Miss Universe crown back in 1978, Rolene Strauss in 2014, Penelope Anne Coelen in 1958 and Anneline Kriel in 1974 (crowned after original winner resigned) have worn the coveted crown of Miss World for South Africa.

Refilwe Fifi Mthimunye from Bronkhorstspruit, Tshwane has been appointed Miss Universe South Africa 2015 on 29’ October 2015. She will now represent South Africa at the sixty-fourth Miss Universe Pageant to be held on December 20 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Aditi Arya was crowned Femina Miss India 2015 on March 28' 2015 and will represent India at Miss World 2015 pageant.Nikol SŠvantnerova was crowned Ceska Miss 2015 (Miss World Czech Republic 2015) on March 28' 2015 and will represent Czech Republic at Miss Universe 2015. On the same event, Ntsiki Mkhize was crowned 2nd princess (Second Runner-up) and Refilwe Mthimunye 1st princess (First Runner-up). After the Preliminary rounds of Evening gown and Swimsuit, Sihle Makhanya, Refilwe Mthimunye, Liesl Laurie, Nicole Lamberts and Ntsiki Mkhize were selected for the slot of Top 5 finalists of Miss South Africa 2015.

Refilwe Mthimunye finalist of Miss South Africa 2015 hails from Bronkhorstspruit in Tshwane and is student of Law 3rd year. She was the second Runner-up at Miss Sundown 2013 and was the second Runner-up at Miss Varsity College, Pretoria in 2012.

Ntskiki Mkhize, finalist of South Africa 2015 hails from Kliprivier, Midvaal and holds a BCom Marketing Management and a BCom Honours in Logistics Management from the University of Johannesburg. She was the winner of Miss Spring Queen (2007) and Miss Annirand, University of Johannesburg (2010).
