Nurul Shamsul (Age – 20 years) will be the first contestant to wear Hijab at Miss Universe New Zealand 2018. She is not the first women to do this but still, she is a torchbearer to most of the world.

Miss Universe New Zealand 2018 finale will be held on 4th August 2018.The Top 201 Finalists are – Marina Kere, Ella Morgan, Priyena Prasad, Estelle Curd, Ruby Hunt, Nurual Shamsul, Neera Vasanthan, Promise Royal, Milena Taryan, Abigail Curd, Latafale Auva’a, Loryn Reynolds, Joyce Cassidy Lee, Larissa Curtis, Te Ara Hunt, Amber Lee Friis, Jaimee Wiggins, Lucy Brock, Jewel Harris and Jess Taylor.

Miss Universe New Zealand 2018 just revealed its Top 20 finalists. Unfortunately, Jua Ko had to back out for personal reasons. She is now replaced by Jewel Harris at the Top 20.
