With Miss World pageant to be held in December 2016, every country is busy crowning their representatives. The latest to announce theirs is Jamaica. Miss French Connection Events, Ashlie Barrett, is Miss World Jamaica 2016.

24 years old Sanneta Myrie was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2015 at the finals held on August 15’ 2015 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James. Sanneta will now represent Jamaica at the Miss World 2015 pageant. Royanne DeSilva was adjudged first runner-up and Roshelle McKinley was adjudged second runner-up.

Laurie-Ann Chin, the reigning Miss University College of the Caribbean, has been crowned Miss Jamaica World 2014 at the grand coronation event held at the Montengo Bay Convention Center on Jul 12th 2014. She was crowned by her predecessor Gina Hargitay, Miss Jamaica World 2013.
