Maria Elisa Padila Cardoso has been selected to represent Ecuador at the Miss United Continent 2015 pageant. Maria hailing from the city of Cuenca was a contestant at the Miss Ecuador 2015 pageant and was among the Top 10 finalists. She was also awarded with the title of Miss Friendship at the Miss Ecuador 2015 finals.

On March 8' 2015, on the occasion of International Women's Day, Miss Ecuador 2015 contestants attended Zumba fitness session at the beach in front of the Las Palmeras Hotel Barcelo Miramar.

Maria Elisa Padilla, finalist of Miss Ecuador 2015 wins the Best National Costume award. Ecuadorian Designer Francisco Vanegas, designed her costume. The costume will be worn by the winner of Miss Ecuador 2015 at the Miss Universe 2015 national costume round.
