Jane Teoh Jun from Penang was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 at the grand coronation night held on 11th January 2018 at The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She succeeds Samantha Katie James and will now represent Malaysia in Miss Universe 2018.

Miss Universe Malaysia organisation today presented the national costume and the evening gown specially designed for their Miss Universe 2017 candidate - Samantha Katie James. The national costume, designed also by Brian Khoo, is inspired by Nasi Lemak, a popular Malaysian dish, and is fully hand-made. Wearing that costume Samantha seems literally draped in Nasi Lemak, with all the condiments!
