Top 16 Finalists for Miss Earth 2014 announced. Miss Earth 2014 pageant finals coronation has set on fire on November 29’ 2014 at the UP Theater in Manila, Philippines. Top 16 finalists for Miss Earth 2014 have been announced. The Top 16 finalists are - Brazil - Leticia Silva, Colombia - Alejandra Villafane, Egypt - Nancy Magdy, South Korea - Sumin Shin, Mexico - Yareli Carrillo, Mongolia - Tugsuu Idersaikhan, Philippines - Jamie Herrell, Russia - Anastasia Trusova, Scotland - Romy McCahill, Slovak Republic - Daria Fabrici, Spain - Zaira Bas, Tahiti - Hereata Ellard, Thailand - Sasi Sintawee, United States of America - Andrea Neu, Venezuela - Maira Alexandra Rodriguez, Zambia - Cartier Zagorski. Miss Earth 2014 National Costume Sub-contest Winners

The National Costume competition of Miss Earth 2014 was held last night at Green Sun Hotel where the lovely contestants dazzled in and showcased their respective national costumes. The winners of the sub-contest were announced in four groups - Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa. María de Lourdes Gallimore from Panama was declared the winner of National Costume - Americas; Maira Alexandra Rodriguez of Venezuela won the silver while Catalina Caceres of Chile won the bronze. Ilze Saunders from South Africa was declared the winner of National Costume - Africa; runners-up in the group being Paulina Malulu of Namibia and Nancy Magdy of Egypt. The winner of National Costume - Asia Pacific was Annisa Ananda Nusyirwan from Indonesia, while Jamie Herrell of Philippines won the silver and Alankrita Sahai of India won the bronze. And finally in the group for Europe, Gabriella Gatehouse from England was adjudged the winner, with Anastasia Trusova of Russia walking away with silver, and Zaira Bas of Spain getting the bronze.

Nancy Magdy crowned Miss Earth Egypt 2014

At the final splendid night of Miss Egypt 2014 pageant held on September 26’ 2014 at Sofitel Hotel - Cairo, Nancy Magdy has been crowned Miss Earth Egypt 2014. Nancy, 19 years of age, competed with seventeen other finalists to clinch the coveted crown. She will now represent Egypt at the Miss Earth 2014 pageant. The event this year had some special guests attending including Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009; Tereza Fajksová from Czech Republic, Miss Earth 2012; Ekaterina Plekhova from Russia, Miss Intercontinental 2013; Katia Wagner, Miss Austria Earth 2013; and Wahiba Arres, Miss Tunisia 2014. Other winners at Miss Egypt 2014 were - Lara Debbane who was crowned Miss Universe Egypt 2014 and Amina Ashraf who was crowned Miss World Egypt 2014. Heba Hesham was the first runner-up and Shaymaa Mohamed was the second runner-up, and they are expected to represent Egypt at Miss International 2014 and Miss Intercontinental 2014 respectively.

Lara Debbane crowned Miss Universe Egypt 2014

At the final splendid night of Miss Egypt 2014 pageant held on September 26’ 2014 at Sofitel Hotel - Cairo, Lara Debbane has been crowned Miss Universe Egypt 2014. Lara, 20 years of age, competed with seventeen other finalists to clinch the coveted crown. She will now represent Egypt at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. Last representative from Egypt at Miss Universe pageant was in the year 2011, when Sara El-Khouly, the first runner-up of Miss Egypt 2010, was appointed to represent Egypt at Miss Universe 2011. The event this year had some special guests attending including Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009; Tereza Fajksová from Czech Republic, Miss Earth 2012; Ekaterina Plekhova from Russia, Miss Intercontinental 2013; Katia Wagner, Miss Austria Earth 2013; and Wahiba Arres, Miss Tunisia 2014. Amina Ashraf crowned Miss World Egypt 2014

At the final splendid night of Miss Egypt 2014 pageant held on September 26’ 2014 at Sofitel Hotel - Cairo, Amina Ashraf has been crowned Miss World Egypt 2014. Amina, 19 years of age, competed with seventeen other finalists to clinch the coveted crown. She will now represent Egypt at the Miss World 2014 pageant to be held in London, England on December 14' 2014. Last representative from Egypt at Miss World pageant was in the year 2011, when Donia Ahmed, the Miss Egypt 2010, was appointed to represent Egypt at Miss World 2011. The event this year had some special guests attending including Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela, Miss Universe 2009; Tereza Fajksová from Czech Republic, Miss Earth 2012; Ekaterina Plekhova from Russia, Miss Intercontinental 2013; Katia Wagner, Miss Austria Earth 2013; and Wahiba Arres, Miss Tunisia 2014.
