Migbelis Castellanos Miss Universe Venezuela 2014 looks to make it two in a row!!

Migbelis Castellanos hails from the land of grace and Miss Universe winners, Venezuela. Born in Migbelis Lynette Castellanos Romero, Migbelis is a popular choice amongst pageant lovers to become the next Miss Universe. Migbelis Castellanos was born on June 7, 1995 and stands tall at 180 cm. Migbelis Castellanos has been an achiever from the beginning, as a little kid she was drawn towards Baseball, she wanted to become like her father who used to play minor Baseball leagues. From Baseball, Migbelis soon got attracted towards the world of beauty pageants and modelling. Migbelis Castellanos represented the Costa Oriental region of the state of Zulia at the Miss Venezuela 2013 pageant. She had previously held the title of Miss Teen Costa Oriental 2010. On October 10, 2013, Migbelis was crowned as the Miss Venezuela 2013. She will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2014 to be held in Florida on January 25, 2015. Migbelis is a very intellectual person; she is currently pursuing graduation in Social Communication and Political Science from Privada Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacin, in Maracaibo Soon after being crowned as the Miss Venezuela 2013, Migbelis Castellanos received flak from beauty pageant experts for putting on excess weight and reports of her being allegedly dethroned surfaced on the social media sites. But Migbelis Castellanos kept her poise and not once hit back at her critics, she took on the nasty comments being made at her on Social media in the best possible way. Mariana Jiménez crowned as Miss Venezuela 2014

At the final pageant night of Miss Venezuela 2014 held on October 9’ 2014 at the Estudio 1 of Venevision in Caracas Venezuela, Mariana Jiménez, the reigning Miss Guárico has been crowned Miss Venezuela 2014 by her predecessor Migbelis Castellanos, Miss Venezuela 2013. Mariana, 20 years of age and stands tall at 5’11.5” is a social communication student. She defeated twenty-four other contestants to clinch the coveted crown. She will represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2015. At the same event, Edymar Martínez, the reigning Miss Anzoátegui was crowned as Miss Venezuela International 2014. She will represent Venezuela at Miss International 2015. Maira Alexandra Rodríguez, the reigning Miss Amazonas was crowned as Miss Venezuela Earth 2014. She will represent Venezuela at Miss Earth 2015. Also, Lorena Santos finished as first runner-up and Erika Pinto as second runner-up at the conclusion of the event.

Miss Venezuela 2014 winners to be crowned tonight

Miss Venezuela 2014 final coronation is scheduled to be held on October 9, 2014 at the Estudio 1 of Venevision in Caracas, Venezuela, and will broadcast live on Venevision. The reigning queen Migbelis Castellanos, Miss Venezuela 2013, will crown her successor Miss Venezuela Universe 2014 at the end of the gala event. Also Michelle Bertolini and Stephanie de Zorzi will crown their respective successors as Miss Venezuela International 2014 and Miss Venezuela Earth 2014. The winners of the pageant will represent Venezuela in Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Earth for 2015 respectively. Twenty-five beautiful finalists will be competing for the titles at the gala final night. It may be noted that the winner of Miss Venezuela 2014 will represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2015, and the runners-up Miss Venezuela International 2014 & Miss Venezuela Earth 2014 will respectively represent Venezuela at Miss International 2015 and Miss Earth 2015. Various Special Awards were already given to the winners of respective awards at the Interactive Beauty Gala (Gala Interactiva de la Belleza) held on September 13' 2014.
