At the ongoing preliminary events of Miss Earth 2014 pageant, the eighty-five (85) gorgeous ladies were awarded with sponsors awards in different categories. The sponsor awards were a combination of beauty, talent and focus on eco tourism which were given during different events. Miss Earth 2014 Resort Wear group Winners

An evening of style, glamour and class started when the gorgeous contestants of Miss Earth 2014 pageant walked the ramp flaunting their fashion sense in the year round light dresses. The resort wear competition was held on three different dates and at three varying venues. The competition commenced in three different groups each having different contestants. The first group of competition was held on November 22’ 2014; the beautiful girls walked the ramp showcasing the cross-cultural style that signifies relaxation, affluence, and appreciation of nature in their striking resort wear. Zaira Bas from Spain bagged the gold medal followed by Eloisa Gutierrez from Bolivia and Franceska Toro from Puerto Rico being awarded with silver and bronze medals respectively. The competition of group two was held on November 19’ 2014 at Green Sun Hotel, which saw the beautiful ladies of Miss Earth 2014 pageant showcasing their catwalk skills wearing sexy swimsuits and sheer cover-ups. Sendy Caceres from Paraguay bagged the gold medal, Mayte Brito from Dominican Republic securing the silver medal and Patricia Peklar from Slovenia being placed at third place with a bronze medal. In the third group of resort wear competition which was held on November 21’ 2014 at Hotel Pontefino Batangas, the Charming and captivating contestants flaunted their style. Andrea Neu from United States of America won the gold medal; Sasi Sintawee from Thailand came at second place winning a silver medal and Maira Alexandra Rodríguez from Venezuela was awarded with a bronze medal. Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014 Winner is Dhio Moreno

Dhio Moreno from Santo Domingo Este has been crowned Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014 (Miss World Dominican Republic 2014) on September 10' 2014 at the finals of the event held at Centro Comercial Sambil, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She was crowned by her predecessor, the outgoing queen Joely Bernat, the Miss Mundo Dominicana 2013. Dhio Morenois is a professional model, is 24 years of age and stands tall at 5’11". She will now represent Dominican Republic at Miss World 2014 pageant to be held on December 14' 2014 in London, England. At the same event, Barbara Santana was crowned Miss República Dominicana Internacional 2014 (or Miss International Dominican Republic 2014). She will be Dominican Republic's official representative at Miss International 2014 to be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 11' 2014. Also, Mayte Brito Medina was crowned Miss República Dominicana Tiera 2015 (or Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2015), and will go on to compete in Miss Earth 2015.

Leslie Santos is Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2015

Leslie Santos representing Santiago was eventually crowned Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2015 at the finals of Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014 pageant held yesterday at Centro Comercial Sambil, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Initially, she was adjudged the second runner-up to Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014, while Rosa Nilda Adames representing Villa Altagracia was crowned Miss Supranational Dominican Republic 2015. However, the big resignation drama unfolded minutes after the crowning, when Rosa Nilda Adames relinquished her title. After her resignation, the title was passed on to Laura Baez, the first runner-up, who also resigned from her position as the first runner-up, and the title was eventually given to the second runner-up Leslie Santos. Leslie Santos will now represent Dominican Republic at Miss Supranational 2015 pageant. The other winners at the pageant were Miss Mundo Dominicana 2014 - Dhio Moreno, Miss International Dominican Republic 2014 - Barbara Santana and Miss Earth Dominican Republic 2015 - Mayte Brito Medina.
