At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Universe China 2016 held on 12th November 2016, Li Zhenying from Hunan has been crowned as the winner. Li Zhenying succeeds Miss Universe China 2015 Jessica Xue, and will now represent China at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

Jessica Xue was crowned Miss Universe China 2015 at the finals of Miss Universe China 2015 held on August 29' 2015 at Shanghai Pudong Shangri-La Hotel Ballroom. Jessica will represent China at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Aurora Wang was adjudged as the first runner-up, Erica Zhao was adjudged as the second runner-up, Rebecca Lang was titled third runner-up and Jingsi Guo ended up as fourth runner-up.
