Miss World 2014 - People’s Choice Poll

The 64th edition of Miss World 2014 pageant has commenced from November 20’ 2014 with the arrival of one hundred and twenty four (124) beautiful delegates from around the world. The organisers of the Miss World pageant have revealed the latest updated list of the Top 10 people’s choice contestants on their official facebook page. The online voting is still on for the people’s choice award. So, here goes the updated list of Top 10 Miss World 2014 people’s choice contestants (In alphabetical order) - Australia - Courtney Thorpe, Barbados - Zoé Trotman, Haiti - Carolyn Desert, India - Koyal Rana, Nepal - Subin Limbu, Netherlands - Tatjana Maul, Philippines - Valerie Weigmann, Russia - Anastasia Kostenko, South Africa - Rolene Strauss, Thailand - Maeya Nonthawan Thongleng. Miss World 2014 finale is scheduled to be held on December 14’ 2014 at Excel London, England.

Miss World 2014 - 20 Finalists for Top Model challenge selected

At the 64th edition of Miss World beauty pageant, Top 20 finalists were selected in the challenge event of Top Model organized on November 28’ 2014. In the event for selection of Top 20 models, the gorgeous contestants wore their cocktail dresses and walked the ramp. Since Miss World is not all about beauty, therefore a panel of judges judged them on the basis of their grace, beauty, poise, elegance, attitude, their walk and their presence on ramp. Out of 124 beauties, Top 20 finalists were selected excelled in all terms. The Top 20 finalists selected were: Hungary - Edina Kulcsar, India – Koyal Rana, Mongolia - Battsetseg Turbat, Haiti - Carolyn Desert, Zimbabwe - Tendai Bongani Hunda, Australia - Courtney Thorpe, Czech Republic - Tereza Skoumalova, Bosnia & Herzegovina - Isidora Borovčanin, Dominican Republic - Dhio Moreno, South Sudan - Awien Kuanyin-Agoth France - Flora Coquerel, Namibia - Brumhilda Ochs, Scotland - Ellie Mckeating, Turkey - Amine Gulse, Russia - Anastasia Kostenko, Mexico - Daniela Alvarez Reyes, Puerto Rico - Genesis Davila, Croatia - Antonija Gogic, South Africa - Rolene Strauss, China PR - Du Yang. Romina Rocamonje crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2014

At the finals gala night of Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 pageant held on November 1’ 2014 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, Romina Rocamonje, the reigning Miss Bolivia Universo 2014, has been crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 by her predecessor María Alejandra López, Reina Hispanoamericana 2013. Romina, 21 years of age, defeated twenty three other beauties to clinch the coveted crown. She was also awarded with Miss Elegance and Chica Cielo titles at the special awards held on October 24’ 2014 at the pool of Buganvillas Hotel in Santa Cruz. Romina, stands tall at 172cm, is a student of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry. Vanessa Lopez from Mexico was awarded with Virreina Hispanoamericana 2014 title. The runners-up at the pageant were – First runner-up - Andrea Lira (Venezuela). Second runner-up - Inés Panchano (Ecuador). Third runner-up - Carolyn Desert (Haiti). Fourth runner-up - Lully Gallimore (Panama). Fifth runner-up - Cindy Clavijo (Colombia). Sixth runner-up - Raquel Benetti (Brazil). Seventh runner-up - Laura Mejía (Curaçao)

Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 Special Award Winners

Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 pageant organized a special awards contest on October 24’ 2014 at the pool of Buganvillas Hotel in Santa Cruz, which saw twenty-four (24) gorgeous contestants of Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 being awarded in different categories. The contestants were awarded on the basis of their figure, elegance, smile, hair etc. Given below are the various title categories and their respective winners: Andrea Lira (Venezuela) - Miss Silueta (Best Figure). Romina Rocamonje (Bolivia) - Miss Elegancia (Miss Elegance) and Miss Cielo. Carolyn Desert (Haiti) - Mejor Sonrisa (Best Smile). Leslye Santos (Dominican Republic) - Mejor Cabellera (Best Hair). Vanessa Lopez (Mexico) - Chica Amazonas and Miss Photogenic. Lully Gallimore (Panama) - Mejor Traje Típico (Best National Costume) and Miss Sports. Reina Hispanoamericana 2014 finale scheduled to be held on November 1’ 2014.

Carolyn Desert crowned Miss Haiti 2014

At the finals of Miss Haiti 214 pageant It held on September 6, 2014 at the Karibe Convention Center, Carolyn Desert was crowned Miss Haiti 2014 by her predecessor Ketsia Lioudy, the Miss Haiti 2013. Carolyn will now represent Haiti at Miss World 2014 pageant. Rose Cathelyne Paul was the first runner-up at the event, while Christie Desir was the second runner-up. Nastassia Raymond and Jennifer Verdieu also made to the Top 5. Runner-ups are expected to compete at Miss International 2014 and Miss Supranational 2014. Remaining Top 10 were Lyska Vanté, Soraya Jean Francois, Syndie Désir, Yvanne Jean-Baptiste and Zeila Legagneur. Twenty-one finalists competed for the title at the finals of Miss Haiti 2014
