Hold your breath, the stunning Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss is going to visit Asia in her first leg of travelling in January. Miss Rolene will visit India, Hong Kong, China and Philippines and contribute towards the Beauty with a Purpose projects from each of these countries.On returning to South Africa after being crowned as the Miss World 2014, Rolene received an astounding welcome from the locals. During a press briefing at Kempton Park, Mr. Steven Morley, told the reporters that the newly appointed Miss World would be travelling across the globe and contribute towards the beauty with a purpose cause, he also elaborated that Rolene would keep returning to South Africa and take up different humanitarian causes. The Miss World organization also assured that they will discuss the various issues faced by locals with the South African government and work with them to resolve the same. Rolene also cleared the rumours of her being a test tube baby and being genetically modified,Rolene simply smiled and said she is thankful to her mother and father for their good genes.After visiting Asian countries in January, the Miss World will then travel to the Caribbean countries and the South America. In March Miss World 2014 is expected to travel to Indonesia, Australia, Argentina and Fiji. Rolene will be the first Miss World to travel to Argentina. In each of these countries she will be working on various humanitarian causes.On her maiden visit to India she is expected to contribute to India’s Beauty with a Purpose project which focuses on Sanitization issues in India. In Philippines she is expected to continue the work done by the former Miss World, Megan Young.

Finally the most awaited grand pageant, Miss World 2014 comes to an end with the crowning of the most beautiful lady amongst the one-hundred twenty one contestants competing at the event, Rolene Strauss, the reigning Miss World South Africa 2014! Megan Young from Philippines, the Miss World 2013, crowned Rolene Strauss as the new Miss World! Rolene, 22 years of age is a medical student and aspires to be a doctor. Waving to the spectators she said "South Africa this is for you,”. After a long gap of 40 years South Africa made it to the coveted crown. The last Miss World title victory for South Africa was in the year 1974 when Anneline Kriel was crowned Miss World 1974, after the resignation of Helen Morgan from UK who was originally crowned Miss World 1974. At the Miss World 2014 preliminary events Rolene Strauss was giving her best, having secured Top 5 finalist place at Beach Fashion and Sports & Fitness challenge events. She was also amongst Top 10 finalists list in Beauty with a Purpose project and Top 10 people’s choice contestants. Edina Kulcsár from Hungary finished as first runner-up and Elizabeth Safrit from United States of America secured third place. With this amazing victory we can surely say "Waka Waka! It’s time for Africa!"

Miss World Organization has announced the hosts for the finals night of Miss World 2014 pageant scheduled to be held on December 14' 2014 in London, England. The 64th edition of the pageant will be hosted by Megan Young together with Tim Vincent and Frankie Cena. Tim Vincent is a Welsh actor and famous television presenter well known for presenting mainstream shows Access Hollywood and Phenomenon. Tim is one of Hollywood’s most in demand television hosts and personalities, known for his sharp wit, humor and ability to entertain a live crowd. Tim will be assuming hosting duties for the Miss World contest for the third time, having earlier been the host for Miss World 2005 and Miss World 2006. Frankie Cena is a presenter, singer, and an international speech coach living in Vancouver, Canada. He was first introduced to the Miss World Organization as a contestant in the 2013 series of Mister World where he claimed a top ten finish overall and was awarded Mister World Talent for his rendition of Down by Jay Sean. Frankie was then hired to present at Mister World 2014 with the reigning Miss World, Megan Young, in Torbay, England. After a brilliant vocal recital at the competition and stellar performance as a presenter, Frankie has now been given the duties to be a host for Miss World 2014 back in England. The final gala night of Miss World 2014 pageant is scheduled to be held on December 14’ 2014 at ICC Auditorium, Excel London, England. One hundred and twenty four (124) beauties from around the world will be competing for the coveted crown of Miss World 2014. The attraction of the gala night is the live performance at the opening and closing of the event by Sky Blu from LMFAO. Sky Blu is Grammy award-nominated and multi-platinum artist, who is known for his chart-topping global hits ‘Party Rock’ and ‘Sorry for Party Rocking’; will debut his newest single ‘We Love Girls’ at the pageant night. Second entry to our Top 15 favourites list for Miss International 2014 is Miss International India 2014 Jhataleka Malhotra. The Mumbai girl Jhataleka, is 19 years of age and stands tall at 173 cm. She is a student of MMK College in Mumbai, and is also a professional model. Her entry to the pageantry world was with Miss Diva 2013, where she finished Top 5 and also received the Miss Photogenic award. She then went on to compete at Femina Miss India World 2014, and was crowned Miss India International 2014 by her predecessor Shobhita Dhulipala, also winning the Best in National Costume award at the event. Megan Young of Philippines, the reigning Miss World, was a special guest and judge at the Miss India World 2014 pageant. India has so far never one any Miss International title, though has won the remaining three of the Big 4 titles (Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth) at least once. Jhataleka looks all set to win the first ever title for India in 2014!

Miss World Philippines 2014, the fourth edition of Miss World Philippines pageant, will commence its screening process on September 9' 2014. General screening will be done on September 9, 2014 at the Solaire Resort and Casino located in the Entertainment City, Philippines and the final screening will be on September 10 at the same venue. The process of application submissions for Miss World Philipppines 2014 is still ongoing, and will finish on September 8' 2014. The finals of the Miss World Philippines 2014 will be held in October, when Megan Young, the Miss World 2013 and Miss World Philippines 2013, will crown her successor who will go on to represent Philippines at Miss World 2014 pageant to be held in London on December 14' 2014. Alexa Kirby (18 years/ 5'8") is so far the confirmed contestants for Miss World Philippines 2014, by virtue of being crowned Miss Philippines Quest USA 2014, and she will represent the Filipino-American community.
