Miss World 2014 - 20 Finalists for Top Model challenge selected

At the 64th edition of Miss World beauty pageant, Top 20 finalists were selected in the challenge event of Top Model organized on November 28’ 2014. In the event for selection of Top 20 models, the gorgeous contestants wore their cocktail dresses and walked the ramp. Since Miss World is not all about beauty, therefore a panel of judges judged them on the basis of their grace, beauty, poise, elegance, attitude, their walk and their presence on ramp. Out of 124 beauties, Top 20 finalists were selected excelled in all terms. Miss World 2014 - World Fashion Designer Award goes to India

At the ongoing preliminary events of Miss World 2014 pageant, Koyal Rana of India bagged the World Fashion Designer Award held on November 29’ 2014, along with two other events which were selection of Top 20 models and Beach Beauty. The runner up being Ellie Mckeating of Scotland and second runner up being Dhio Moreno Romero of Dominican Republic. Miss World India Koyal Rana wore the gown designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock. First runner-up Miss Scotland Ellie Mckeating wore the gown designed by Eleganza Sposa and Siobhan Mackenzie and the second runner up Miss Dominican Republic Dhio Moreno was wearing Keyther Esteuez’s designed gown. For the World Fashion Designer Award, contestants walked the ramp in the ravishing gowns designed by the designers from their home countries and were judged on the basis of their beauty, elegance, grace accompanied by their equally beautiful gowns. The panel of judges for the World Fashion Designer Award consisted of Mike Dixon, Donna Darby, Andrew Minarik, staff from the FRA, a panel of FRA students, and Miss World Chairman, Julia Morley.

Miss Earth 2014 Resort Wear group Winners

An evening of style, glamour and class started when the gorgeous contestants of Miss Earth 2014 pageant walked the ramp flaunting their fashion sense in the year round light dresses. The resort wear competition was held on three different dates and at three varying venues. The competition commenced in three different groups each having different contestants. The first group of competition was held on November 22’ 2014; the beautiful girls walked the ramp showcasing the cross-cultural style that signifies relaxation, affluence, and appreciation of nature in their striking resort wear. Zaira Bas from Spain bagged the gold medal followed by Eloisa Gutierrez from Bolivia and Franceska Toro from Puerto Rico being awarded with silver and bronze medals respectively. The competition of group two was held on November 19’ 2014 at Green Sun Hotel, which saw the beautiful ladies of Miss Earth 2014 pageant showcasing their catwalk skills wearing sexy swimsuits and sheer cover-ups. Sendy Caceres from Paraguay bagged the gold medal, Mayte Brito from Dominican Republic securing the silver medal and Patricia Peklar from Slovenia being placed at third place with a bronze medal. In the third group of resort wear competition which was held on November 21’ 2014 at Hotel Pontefino Batangas, the Charming and captivating contestants flaunted their style. Andrea Neu from United States of America won the gold medal; Sasi Sintawee from Thailand came at second place winning a silver medal and Maira Alexandra Rodríguez from Venezuela was awarded with a bronze medal. Miss International 2014 Top 15 Favourites – Israel

The last and fifteenth entry to our Top 15 favourites list for Miss International 2014 is Miss International Israel Shani Hazan. Shani is 22 years of age, and stands tall at 182cm. Shani was crowned Miss Israel 2012 on March 7, 2012 at the Haifa International Convention Centre in Haifa, Israel. She went on to competed at Miss World 2012 pageant, which was held on August 18' 2012 in Ordos, China. She competed with 115 beauties from across the world, and managed to secure Top 30 placement. Thirteenth entry to our Top 15 favourites list for Miss International 2014 is Miss International UK 2014 Victoria Tooby. Victoria is 20 years of age, 174cm tall and has vital statistics of 82-60-90. She is truly a beauty with brains; after studying English language, drama, theatre studies and history at Eirias High School; she was granted a place at Oxford Brookes University to study law and aims to be a barrister. Victoria won the Miss International UK 2014 in a pageant held on September 25 at Palace Hotel in Manchester, to represent UK at Miss International 2014 to be held in Japan. Following the footsteps of her mother Caroline, The former Miss Wales, who now works as an accountant, took part in the same event, Miss International in 1982 when she was 21 year -old. Victoria proved that looks definitely run in her family as she was earlier crowned with Miss Teen Galaxy Wales 2011 and also won Miss Teen Colwyn Bay Galaxy 2011 title. Aurianne, a professional model, is 20 years of age, and stands tall at 176 cm. Aurianne was crowned Miss Côte d'Azur 2013 on August 3' 2013, when she was just 19 years old. Aurianne finished as the third runner-up at the finals of Miss France 2014, the winner being Miss Orléanais, Flora Coquerel. The placement led to her anointment as Miss International France 2014. With Aurianne's representation at Miss International 2014, France is returning to the pageant after two years having not competed in Miss International 2012. France has won only one Miss International title till date, when Sophie Perin won Miss Internation 1976 crown. Aurianne does has the potential to secure the second Miss International title for France after a long gap of 38 years. What do you think?
