As everyone knows that Oscars 2017 event has just concluded, and the event has been in news for not so good reasons. The Oscars 2017 trended on Twitter and on every social media platform when La La Land which dominated the 89th Academy Awards, was announced the winner of the Best Picture category, when in fact it was Moonlight.
After the controversial event, Twitteratis started trolling the Oscars, and the best came for Miss Universe Organisation, Steve Harvey and Pia Wurtzbach. For those who do not remember, the similar situation happened during the Miss Universe 2015 finale, when Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Colombia as the winner.
Apart from the controversial announcement, there was something else that grabbed eyeballs at the Oscars 2017. Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra’s red carpet dress. She definitely slayed it at the Oscars in her white Ralph and Russo tulle strapless couture dress and everyone went gaga over the poise with which she pulled off the look. But Twitteratis somehow found out their reasons to mock the dress.
