The winner of this challenge will get fast tracked into the Top 30 during the finale of Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.

Han Thi, Anukreethy Vas, Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Dayanara Martínez and Nicolene Pichapa came out to be the strongest contenders from groups 11-15 for the Round 1 of Head to Head Challenge. The winner of this challenge will get fast tracked into the Top 30 during the finale of Miss World 2018 to be held on 8th December 2018 in Sanya, China.

Miss World Organization has divided the delegates of Miss World 2018 into 20 groups for the Head to Head Challenge where the contestants will be in direct competition with the other delegates in the same group. In the first round, the delegates presented an introductory video of themselves, describing their advocacies and in the end answering a question whose answer would determine if the delegate would proceed to Round 2. Murielle Ravina, Maëva Coucke, Thulisa Keyi, Katarina Sonja Rodriguez and Kadijah Robinson came out to be the strongest contenders from groups 1 to 5.

The delegates of Miss World 2018 were divided into groups before they visited many beautiful places like the Hainan International Tourism Carnival, Mei She River Wetlands Park, San Jiao Chi Park and Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park. They also visited the Feng Xiao Movie Town, Mission Hill Hot Springs and Volcanic Cluster National Geopark in Haikou. Miss Wolrd 2017 Manushi Chhillar and Miss World 2016 and Beauty With a Purpose Ambassador Stephanie Del Valle also joined them for a day packed with globe beauties in mesmerising places.

Delegates of Miss World 2018 as well as our reigning Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar were welcomed Mission Hills in Haikou, the fashion capital of China. This year’s delegates had a gala time enjoying some leisure time amidst all the hustle and bustle for the preparation for the finale.

During the Top Model and Designer Award of Miss World 2018 held on 20th November 2018 in Sanya, Miss World France 2018 Maëva Coucke was declared the winner. She is the first contestant to have secured a spot in the Miss World 2018 Top 30.

The joint winners of Miss World 2018 Designer Award are Miss World South Africa 2018 Thulisa Keyi and Miss World China 2018 Mao Peirui. The winner of the Top Model competition is Miss World France 2018 Maëva Coucke and the other countries who made it to the Top 5 of the Top Model competition are Mao Peiru, Aïsattou Filly, Bo Ah Cho and Thulisa Keyi.

Miss World 2018 will host its Top Model competition tonight as 118 delegates will compete at the first qualifier for the finale stage. The competition is scheduled to commence at 6 PM (Local Time).

Estefany Mauricci was crowned Miss World Peru 2018, but later dismissed for not having the prerequisite accredited professional degree. Clarrise Uribe, who represented Peru in Miss United Continents 2018 was later crowned by the director of Miss World Peru contest.

Miss World 2018 has already started with its preliminary rounds, and the Head to Head challenge plays a huge part in the selection process of the worthy finalists. Gianna Sgambelluri was crowned Miss World Guam 2018 yesterday during the grand finale of the national event. She will now represent Guam in Miss World 2018 to be held later this year. Gianna was crowned by Miss World Guam 2017 Destiny Cruz who was one the Top 20 in the finale of Miss World 2017.

Jenny Lappalainen has been confirmed Miss World Finland 2018 by the official Facebook page of Miss World. She will now represent Finland in Miss World 2018. Jenny succeeds Miss World Finland 2017 Adriana Gerxhalija who was disqualified from Miss World 2017 for not meeting the basic height requirements.

Aïssatou Filly was crowned Miss World Senegal 2018 by her predecessor Miss World Senegal 2017 Nar Codou Diouf. She will now represent Senegal in Miss World 2018 to be held later this year. Sophie Khady Diop was awarded the position of first runner-up and Aissatou Samaké became the second runner-up.
