Binibining Pilipinas 2019 is all set to crown its new queens who will represent the Philippines in various international beauty pageants. With the gorgeous Filipina beauties already submitting applications, we noticed a surprising surge of applications from the beauties of last year’s edition. With the new set of contestants being announced today, here are the 2018 Binibining Pilipinas contestants submitting applications this year as well. With the last year’s experience and know-how of the competition, these beauties definitely will have an advantage over the other ladies as the contestants will be announced. After trying their luck last year, maybe second time will be a charm for the Filipina beauties. Here are the nine contestants appearing again this year.

Vickie Marie Rushton
Vickie Marie Rushton submitted her application on 15th March 2019 as she is making a comeback at the competition this year. Probably one of the most deserving ones, Vickie will be a force to be reckoned with at the competition is she clears the screening process. Last year, she was adjudged the position of first runner-up at Binibining Pilipinas 2018. Before her many Filipina beauties such as Pia Wurtzbach attained the runners-up positions before winning the Miss Universe crown. Will it be a similar fate for this beauty, only time will tell.

Maria Andrea Abesamis
Maria Andrea Abesamis submitted her application on 15th March 2019, all set to return to the national competition. Lovingly known as Aby Abesamis, the gorgeous Filipina beauty will definitely be a strong competitor if she clears the screening process. Last year at Binibining Pilipinas 2018, Maria won a spot in the Top 15. She graduated at the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Fine Arts and she's now a professional model and an officer of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines or PMAP. Pageantry runs in her blood as she is the daughter of Miss Universe 1984 3rd runner-up, Desiree Verdadero-Abesamis and a cousin of Miss World 2003 Top 5 finalist, Maria Rafaela Yunon.

Samantha Mae Bernardo
Samantha Mae Bernardo submitted her application on 15th March 2019 as she arrived at the BPCI office in a white dress and yellow heels. Looking absolutely gorgeous, Samantha has come back into the competition with more confidence and better knowledge. At Binibining Pilipinas 2018, Samantha Mae Bernardo was adjudged the position of second runner-up. With her exotic Filipina features and a perfectly angled face, Samantha proved her worth in the pageantry last year as well. She also won the award of Reader’s Choice at the last year’s edition.

Shane Quintana Tormes
Shane Quintana Tormes submitted her application on 12th March 2019 along with other Filipina beauties to try her luck again in the competition. With all her experience in the pageantry, Shane will definitely be strong competition for the other ladies is she gets selected this year. At last year’s edition, Shane attained a spot in the Top 25. Along with that, she also won the Best in Talent and Miss Friendship award at the finale.

Wynonah Buot
Wynonah Buot is all set to try her luck for the second time as she submitted her application at the BPCI office a few days ago. Referred to as the Diva of Aces and Queens, Wynonah Buot is a fluent speaker and eloquent in her views. At Binibining Pilipinas 2019, Wynonah won a top spot in Top 15, giving a commendable performance. She is a Communications degree holder at the University of the Philippines Cebu and now works as a model at the Models' Association of Cebu.

Sigrid Grace Flores
Sigrid Grace Flores submitted her Binibining Pilipinas 2019 application on 16th March 2019 as she wore a purple gorgeous dress and will rock the stage in the competition if she gets selected at the screening process. At the last year’s edition, Sigrid won a spot in the Top 25 and along with that everyone’s hearts in the competition. Not new to the pageantry, Sigrid will try her luck for a second time at Binibining Pilipinas. Along with that, she also won the title of Miss Kaogma Tourism 2018 and Miss Kaogma best in a swimsuit last year.

Rose Marie Murphy
Rose Marie Murphy submitted her application for Binibining Pilipinas 2019 as she became another delegate from last year’s edition to join the national competition again. The 26-year-old beauty of joint heritage, Rose is a Filipina American. She did her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is a graduate at Father Saturnino Urios University in Butuan City. Not just Binibining Pilipinas, Rose has tried her hand in Miss World Philippines as well.

Agatha Romero
Agatha Romero submitted her application for Binibining Pilipinas 2019 just a few days ago as she rocked the purple jumpsuit, looking absolutely gorgeous. Agatha will definitely make a strong comeback after last year with more maturity and confidence. Last year, she participated in Binibining Pilipinas 2018 and won a spot in the Top 25. She studied at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Engineering. With her gorgeous beauty and the dedication to win the title, Agatha will definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

Kayesha Clauden Chua
Kayesha Clauden Chua submitted her application for Binibining Pilipinas 2019 a few days ago as she is all set to try her luck for the second time. The gorgeous Filipina undoubtedly has what it takes to win the competition with more maturity, sincerity and dedication. Being placed in the Top 25 at last year’s edition, Kayesha has the knowledge of how things function in the organization. Along with her last year’s participation, She is the winner of Miss Bicolandia 2017 and provincial pageants like Miss Kaogma Tourism and Mutya ng Ibalong Tourism.
