From the province of Santiago de Chile, Geraldine was everyone’s favourite since the beginning of the pageant and is no stranger to pageantry as earlier, she competed in Miss Universe Chile 2018 where she stood up the second runner-up. Fernanda Méndez was crowned Miss Earth Chile 2019 at the coronation night on 10th August 2019in the city of vicuña. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Earth Chile 2018 Antonia Cristal Figueroa.The 27-year-old beauty is a student of Foreign Trade Engineering. In 2016 she obtained the title of 1st finalist in Miss Earth Chile and the following year she represented the country in Miss Atlantic.The beauty was also a regional and national champion of Cueca and used to play guitar, drums and piano since her childhood. She also practised diving for eight years. She also initiated the ‘Green Day’ in the city of Los Vilos under the project ‘a tree, an ecosystem’, the one who has replicated in San Pedro de Atacama today, the one who seeks to promote and encourage the planting of native trees.
