Miss Grand Armenia 2021 Kristina Ayanian

Kristina Ayanian was crowned Miss Grand Armenia 2021 in October 2021 and will be Armenia’s first appearance in the 9th Miss Grand International pageant. Ayanian has been competing in the pageantry circuit since she was seven years old. Throughout her career, she has served as Miss Boston Preteen 2008, Miss Massachusetts Outstanding Teen 2013 and most recently Miss Boston 2020, impressing audiences with her eloquence, poise and musical talents as a classical pianist. Kristina’s ultimate goal as Miss Grand Armenia is to help serve as a bridge between the Diaspora and its homeland; she also wants to share her love for Armenia with the whole world. Ayanian, who also works full-time as an analyst for NASDAQ, is looking forward to building fruitful relationships with Armenian organizations and international organizations alike to strengthen Armenia’s presence on the world stage.

Miss Grand Bangladesh 2021 Marjana Chowdhury

Marjana Ratia Ahmed was elected as Miss Grand Bangladesh 2021 and will represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2021 pageant. Marjana is a Bangladeshi-American model, actress, philanthropist and beauty queen. She was most recently crowned Miss Alaska World 2019 and competed in October 2019 for the title of Miss World America 2019, where she placed in the Top 25. She was Miss Bangladesh 2017 and represented Bangladesh at the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in the Philippines in November, 2017. She previously won the 2016 Miss Bangladesh USA competition, which was the first pageant she entered. Marjana is currently working at an investment management firm in New York City.

Miss Grand Cambodia 2021 Sothida Pokimtheng

Sothida Pokimtheng was crowned as the new queen on 11th October 2021 as she succeed Miss Grand Cambodia 2020 Chily Tevy for the title. The Battambang beauty standing 175 cm tall held off strong challenges from the other contestants to claim the crown after struggling for the past six years and never giving up on her dream of the crown. Apart from the title, Sothida also placed as the runner-up for Best in Swimsuit award. Not new to pageantry, 23 years-old Sothida was crowned as the fourth runner-up of Miss City Tourism World 2017 and later in 2019 she was also crowned as Miss Asia-Pacific International Cambodia.

Miss Grand China 2021 Shelley Wei

25 years-old Shelley Wei stands 171 cm tall and is Miss Grand China 2021. She is a project planner and aims to always be a socially responsible screw to human society. Just like her country, her looks forward to contributing her efforts to maintain world peace in the context of the era of global integration through Miss Grand International’s amazing platform.

Miss Grand Korea 2021 Lee Ji ho

Lee Ji-ho was crowned Miss Grand Korea 2021 on 29th October, 2021, at Daejeon Convention Center, South Korea as she bested 29 other contestants to the title. She succeeded Miss Grand Korea 2020 Hyunyoung Lee to the title. Lee Ji-ho is 25 years old and hails from Seoul, the place where high-tech subways and pop culture meet Buddhist temples, palaces, and street markets. She graduated from Dankook University; the first university established after the National Liberation Day of Korea. “I was really honored to win the 1st place queen in the 2021 Miss Grand Korea finals. Thank you so much to those who supported us and to the precious connections we made while staying together. Due to the unexpected result, I was in a hurry to prepare for the world championship, but I will work hard until the end,” the queen shared the news on her social media.

Miss Grand Philippines 2021 Samantha Alexandra Panlilio

Samantha Panlilio of Cavite was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 at the coronation ceremony of Binibining Pilipinas 2021. Being a debutant, nobody could deny the sheer force that Samantha came with at the competition. The 25-year old entrepreneur is a graduate from the University of California Irvine which she completed in2017. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Computer Science which fits very well in her family's business ecosystem, related to real estate. Samantha’s advocacy has also left people intrigued as she wishes to advocate building sustainable community in rural areas.

Miss Grand Hong Kong 2021 Sen Yang

28 years-old Sen Yang is Miss Grand Hong Kong 2021 and stands 171 cm tall. She is a model, civil society worker and a student of MSc. in Equality and Human Rights at the University of Glasgow, UK. She aspires to help capacity building for Civil societies, raise awareness for Basic Human Rights, wishes to represent UPR, be a sustainable happiness keeper for world-wide and to be a multilateral diplomacy expert of Human Rights sector. “I regularly participate in Asia Human Rights Forum for further view point. Besides, a wide range of voice from the world. As a Miss Grand representative, I am interested in various sides of violence. Not only physical force, but also invisible oppression, digital, hierarchy etc.,” she shared.

Miss Grand India 2021 Manika Sheokand

Manika is 25-years-old and stands 173 cm tall. She graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration and started working at an MNC and is now a professional model and is working every day to chase her passion and create a distinct identity for herself. The diva describes herself as a calm and confident woman who uses her fearless attitude in tackling any situation that comes as an obstacle in front of her. Manika is very grateful for the opportunities she has received till now which has helped her to grow and has assured that she will keep fighting until she makes her country proud at international stage and becomes an inspiration to the people who deal with gender-based inequality like her but wants to work to eradicate that from the society.

Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 Sophie Louise Rogan

Sophia Rogan was crowned as Miss Grand Indonesia 2021 as she was handpicked by the national director of Miss Grand Indonesia, Ivan Gunawan. She is 19-years-old and stands 182 cm tall. Sophia is an English-Indonesia fashion model who is based in Bali currently. Sophia has worked hard and dedicated herself into making a strong name in the pageant and modeling world and feels proud and grateful for all the opportunities she has received that have only helped her to grow more. She is young and is constantly working to make a name for herself. With this platform, her goal is to embody an authentic and genuine spirit, and use her voice to stand up for what she believes in, “because at the end of the day making a positive impact in the world is what really matters.” Sophia is ready to embrace her next journey and the future ahead of her.

Miss Grand Japan 2021 Chika Mizuno

The Miss Grand Japan organization recently hosted the final audition for the 2021 edition of the national pageant where Chiika Mizuno was selected as the new queen and was appointed as Miss Grand Japan 2021. 25 years-old Chiika stands 177cm tall and is a Graduate from faculty of Education, Saitama University, currently live in Tokyo, Japan. She also won best in swimwear award in Miss Grand Japan 2021 competition. She is the first ever Miss Grand Japan who is African descent. Mizuno replaces the previous title holder of Miss Grand Japan 2021 Sarina Chanana since she couldn’t compete due to the submission of the necessary documents had not been made in time by the deadline. “I want to reach the world. Taking full advantage of this opportunity, I will do my best to represent Japan in the world championships! Thank you for your continued support,” Chika shared.

Miss Grand Laos 2021 Daomixay Phachansitthy

23 years-old Daomixay Phachansitthy was crowned as Miss Grand Laos 2021 and will represent the country at the 9th Miss Grand International pageant. She stands 178 cm tall and is a 4th year student at the Faculty of Science Forest in University of Laos. Her hobbies include watching movies, exercising, listening to music and she is determined to improve her fluency in spoken English. She is a good listener and is eager to learn new things.

Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 Lishalliny Kanaran

Lishalliny Kanaran was selected as the new Miss Grand Malaysia 2021 through virtual series of selection as she completed all the stages as a top performer. Lisha succeeds Miss Grand Malaysia 2020 Jasebel Robert for the title. Hailing from Selangor, Malaysia, she emerged as a winner at the national competition as she competed with absolute hardwork and determination. Lisha is 24 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. She is a student of Architecture. Lisha is no stranger to the pageant as this was her third attempt at Miss Grand Malaysia. Through her title, Lisha wishes to advocate for period poverty and children’s education.

Miss Grand Nepal 2021 Ronali Amatya

Ronali Amatya was crowned Miss Grand Nepal 2021 to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2021 and succeeded Miss Grand Nepal 2020 Ambika Joshi Rana for the title. She is a Nepali model and beauty pageant title holder who won Miss Nepal International 2018 and represented Nepal in Miss International 2018. She is the winner of Miss Eco International Nepal 2017. She represented her country in Egypt on April 2017, where she was awarded the title of Miss Congeniality. She is also the winner of Model Hunt Nepal 2016.

Miss Grand Pakistan 2021 Ramina Ashfaque

Ramina Ashfaque was appointed as Miss Grand Pakistan 2021 on 4th August 2021 will represent the country as a newcomer at the Miss Grand International pageant this year. The Pakistani beauty is a registered nurse and throughout the pandemic has been committed to saving the lives of people. She is also a former model/ beauty queen holding more than five titles. Her professional model/ pageant experience consists of walking the runway, appearing in publications, and hosting large scale events. Ramina is a 28 years-old diva standing at 168cm, hailing from Karachi, Pakistan. She is currently working as registered nurse in Miami, Florida and can speak fluent English and Urdu. Not new to pageantry, Ramina represented Pakistan at Miss World 2017 and gave an impressive performance throughout with her stunning personality.

Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2021 Anna Marie Ondaatje

Anna-Marie Ondaatje was elected as Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2021 and will represent the country at Miss Grand International 2021 as she succeeds Miss Grand Sri Lanka 2020 Pratibha Liyanaarachchi for the title. The stunning diva standing 177 cm tall is a first year Business Management student at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. She is currently working on her brand AQO/AnnaQuintO, and looking forward to create the first Rhythmic Gymnastics School in Sri Lanka. She has also been learning more about fashion, styling, and modelling. "I am ambitious to focus on helping eliminate poverty in my mother country, human rights, basic needs (food, clothing, and shelter), creating change in areas of health and safety, education, gender equality, foster, abuse, women, disaster response, refugee, sports development, arts, culture, and heritage, rural transformation and urban renewal. We want to partner with government, public and private sectors and foster greater public awareness of urgent issues. Build partnerships that bring together resources, expertise and vision working with the best organizations in the world. I am ambitious to promote good healthcare and safety to all our people and to be a Goodwill Ambassador to promote Sri Lanka across the Universe while promoting the idea that WE ARE ALL EQUAL AND HERE FOR A PURPOSE,” she shared.

Miss Grand Thailand 2021 Indy Johnson

Indy Johnson was recently appointed as Miss Grand Thailand 2021 and will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2021. Indy succeeds Miss Grand Thailand 2020 Patcharaporn Nam Chantarapadit for the title. Indy was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Grand Thailand 2020. Hailing from the city of Bangkok, Indy stands 175 cm tall and has graduated with a degree from Bangkok University. Not new to the industry, Indy participated in The Face Thailand Season 2 but unfortunately, didn’t make it to the final rounds. Indy is a strong supporter and advocate of self-love as well as women empowerment.

Miss Grand Vietnam 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien

Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên was officially announced as Miss Grand International Vietnam 2021 by Pham Kim Dung, National Director of Miss Grand Vietnam on 13th August 2021. Thuy Tiên is 23-years-old and had been one of the favorites for the Miss Grand Vietnam 2021 crown. She represented Vietnam at Miss International 2018 and was highly praised for her performance throughout the competition; however, she was not placed. She had been actively exercising in the gym every day, focusing on training skills such as catwalk, behavior, foreign languages, and cultivating other secondary skills such as singing and dancing to be able to make an impression on an international platform.
