Philippines at Mega Six Pageants of 2015
Philippines has once again established itself as the “Country of the Year” by performing vividly at all the major international pageants this year. The nation not just made its mark felt in all the international pageants, but also closed the year by winning two of the chief grandslam crowns, by bagging Miss Universe and Miss Earth crowns. Philippines also tumultuously made its spot secure at both Miss International and Miss World by attaining the Top 10 finalist spot. Apart from performing exceptionally well at the Big 4 pageants, the nation also bagged 3rd runner-up title at Miss Grand International, First Runner Up title at Miss Intercontinental and Top 20 spot at Miss Supranational. Pia Wurtzbach Miss Universe 2015
After three attempts, Pia Wurtzbach not only headed over the title of Miss Universe Philippines but also fulfilled her nation’s 42 years old dream of winning the third Miss Universe crown. Despite of the criticisms, Pia never failed to focus on her aim, and worked towards her goal steadfastly. A professional model, actress, host and TV personality, Pia was humble and down to earth throughout her journey. Her confidence, natural beauty and authenticity to prove her words true through her actions made her the Queen of Universe. Angelia Ong Miss Earth 2015
Angelia Ong is the brightest star of the cluster as she accomplished an almost impossible victory this year by marking the first ever back to back win in the history of pageant, thereby also winning the third Miss Earth crown for Philippines. Not only did she proved her elegance through this win, but also established everything is possible, if one solemnly follows his willpower. Angelia formerly represented Iloilo City at Binibining Pilipinas 2011 wherein she was awarded as the Face of Bb. Pilipinas. Coming back refined and polished, this beauty queen fought for the national title of Miss Earth fair and square, and then the rest as we know is history. Throughout her reign, the gorgeous and gracious Earth Warrior will be serving to the needs of Mother Earth.

Janicel Lubina Miss International 2015 Top 10 Finalist
Janicel Jaranilla Lubina is celebrated as the runner up to Megan Lynne Young at the Miss World Philippines 2013 pageant. Standing next to the beauty queen who later went on to become the first Filipino Miss World, Janicel learnt a lot of things from the journey. A well established pageant veteran, Janicel won Mutya ng Palawan 2012, Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines 2013 and also grabbed the Top 5 spot at Miss Scuba International 2012. At Miss International 2015, Janicel Lubina shaping Philippines’ yet another remarkable placement at the pageant placed as one of the Top 10 finalists along with winning the Best Dresser Special Award.

Hillarie Parungao Miss World 2015 Top 10 Finalist
Philippines had to wait for 62 years to win its first Miss World crown, but after Megan Young’s win at Miss World 2013, it seems that Philippines has discovered the success hymn for Miss World. This year, Hillarie despite of being crowned one month prior to Miss World arrivals, made her charisma felt quite majestically at Miss World 2015. A well known television presenter and print-commercial model, Hillarie’s pageant experience at Miss Asia Pacific World 2014 where she placed as 3rd runner-up, helped her to shine at Miss World 2015 where she not only advanced as a Top 10 finalist but also bagged the title of Miss Multimedia.

Christi Lynn McGarry Miss Intercontinental 2015 First Runner Up
Christi McGarry is an eminent pageant veteran. Having won 1st Runner Up title at Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2008, along with being a Top 15 finalist at Mutya ng Pilipinas 2010 and Top Model of the World 2010, Christi’s flawless charm at the stage is not surprising. The beautiful lady almost clinched the first Miss Intercontinental crown for Philippines but missed the shot with an inch, thereby becoming the first runner up at the said pageant.

Rogelie Catacutan Miss Supranational 2015 Top 20 Finalist
Rogelie with her soft features and enigmatic personality made everlasting impressions on the judges. The fine facial features, with fanatical fan following outshined others during the grand finale as she took over the stage in the coronation night. Rogelie’s charisma is certainly to die for, and she proved her worth by rightfully securing her spot as one of the Top 20 semi-finalist at the Miss Supranational 2015 pageant.
