Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Marquez Dee was effortless as she answered the question given to her during the Q & A round of the pageant. She was asked, “Which invention from the last century she would love to make a comeback?” The diva’s answer was, “It would probably be polaroid films. I'm an avid lover of art. I love photography and I love the kind of energy and feel that polaroid gives me; just being able to lay everything out and go down memory lane is such a different feeling. Polaroids give me such a vibrant and positive energy.” This was indeed a smart answer and at the same time, was thoughtful and intellectual. The room was filled with cheers as she finished answering.

Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Sonja Rodriguez was diligent and confident as she answered the question given to her during the Q & A round of the pageant. Her question was, “There are people who believe that beauty pageants are a form of women exploitation. What can you do to change their opinion?” To this, she said, “I’d like to think that one should live by example. And I actually would like to admit that I was one of those before until I learned more about what beauty pageants are about. One thing I can tell you is that you may think it’s very competitive but it’s not. You understand beauty pageants when you know that it is actually not competitive against other women. It’s actually competitive towards yourself. And in a sense, it’s all about woman empowerment. And you can feel that in this group of girls and each girl knows that we are all individually beautiful.” Indeed, a very heart-warming and beautiful answer; Katarina could not stop blushing as the audience cheered her with applause and hooting.

Miss World Philippines 2017 Laura Lehmann, a gorgeous Filipina model, was naturally poised and graveful as she answered the question given to her during the Q & A round of the pageant. Her question was, “There are people who do not believe pageants provide the opportunity to empower women. What would you say to them?” The stunning beauty replied to this by saying, “To anyone who does not believe in pageants, I would ask them to take a look at the girls on stage tonight. We have lawyers, architects, basically women of substance not only because of what they look like but also because of what’s in their heart, mind and because they have brought forth beauty with a purpose with their personalities. They are here fighting to represent Philippines and to be the best versions of the Filipina and that is something we should celebrate and not protest about.” This answer, was by far, one of our personal favourites. She was an elocution perfection which was proved by the audience as they gave loud cheers and applauded the queen for her perfectionism.

Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray is a drop-dead gorgeous model who answered her questions with ease. Also known as Miss Universe 2018, her question was, “When you get up in the morning and look in the mirror, what do you see?” The beauty queen’s answer was, “I see someone who is constantly trying to be better. I've always endured to always be better than the day before, to do things that challenge me, to do things outside the box. And something that is very fulfilling that I have found is when I look in the mirror, I want to see someone who gives back to the community, and that's someone who I achieve to be every single day.” She has always been super confident and poised and with this answer, her image went up by a notch. It was truly a touching answer and the crowd appreciated it with full swing.

Miss World Philippines 2015 Hillarie Danielle Parungao is a stunning and gorgeous model who answered her questions with minimum thinking and maximum ease. The question given to her by the judges was, “What is your life's philosophy and why?” The gorgeous diva replied, “My life philosophy always relies into compassion. I believe compassion can help, can open doors into many challenges in life that we can resolve, that we can progress as a society. And I also believe that in compassion we can understand other people. And in understanding other people, we can become a better society.” Hilary gave one of the most thought-through answers and instantly became a crowd favourite with this one. It is true, in every woman there is a queen. Hilary just proved that she was one too.

Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann is an attractive Filipina model and she answered her finale question with utmost sincerity and truth. The question was, “Why do you think you should be the new queen?” Valerie answered in the blink of an eye by saying, “I try to live my life in relation to others, by putting myself into other people’s shoes. I believe in the importance of empathy and compassion because I see if all of us can come together and work as one. We can all be advocates of change. And I want to inspire and encourage everyone to take up a personal advocacy such as my own because I believe that giving is truly beautiful.” Valerie’s answer was straight from the heart; which is why she won many praises from the audience as well as the judges.

Miss World Philippines 2013 Megan Lynne Young 23-year-old Filipina gave an outstanding answer that made her stand out amongst the 5 finalists. Her question was, “Why do you want to be Miss World Philippines?” Her answer was, “A Miss World Philippines is selfless and in order to be selfless, you need to have a heart. If I win this crown, I will pour my heart and soul into helping others which is what Miss World is: beauty in giving.” Young went on to win the Miss World 2013 title as well and made Philippines extremely joyous and proud. She was the first ever Filipina to take the international crown home since the pageant’s inception and it was a celebration in itself.

Miss World Philippines 2012 Queenie Ajero Rehman, a (now) 27-year-old Filipina model who, apart from her outstanding answer at the Q&A round, made hearts race with her beatboxing and singing skills. She is part-Pakistani who drew worldwide attention with her exceptional skills. The question she was asked was, “As an ambassador of the Philippines, what are the best features of your country that you can project to the world?” This talented diva replied by saying, “I believe that wherever you will go here in the Philippines, it's not the islands that make us special but of course the Filipinos who have warm hospitality, who are having smiles on their faces, and of course who will treat all foreigners the love and respect, and hospitality that they can give to them. I believe that the Philippines is a country that we can be proud of.” This answer was quite impressive and made Rehman even more known and popular with her fans. She won 8 other titles during Miss World Philippines 2012.

Miss World Philippines 2011 Gwendoline Ruais is a Filipina-French beauty queen, fashion model, actress and TV presenter. Her charming persona was quite an eye-catcher at the pageant. Her question was, “What would you do with the one million cash prize if you win?” The answer she gave was truly an honest one. She said, “I will put part of the money into the bank, for the future. Another part of it I will use to throw a thanksgiving party to thank all the people who helped me in this experience.” Truth is always appreciated and with that answer, she instantly pulled the crowd towards her.
