The first contender on the list of Top 10 favourites is Ashley Powell. The Blonde beauty has recently graduated university attaining a Bachelor of Science degree in sport and nutrition. She says, “I don't see myself as beautiful, because I can see a lot of flaws. But if you can learn to love yourself and all the flaws, you can love other people so much better. That has the power to create happiness, and the freedom to make a difference. I am blessed to have a family full of unconditional love that has helped me learn to love myself. They have encouraged me to embrace all the qualities that make me ‘me’, not to follow the rules of society but to be brave in my life choices, to be happy. This ideology is something I truly believe and aspire to live by, to find happiness in my aspirations and dreams and to inspire others to take the leap into finding what makes them happy, and most of all to enjoy this unbelievably beautiful world that we are so lucky to live in.”

Next in line is Jacinta Spencer who has a striking resemblance with Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie. 22 years old Jacinta is an advanced makeup artist for Bobbi Brown. Jacinta says, “My aspirations in life are to be happy, healthy and to make my family proud. My Miss Universe Great Britain experience has already made me realise that I can be confidently beautiful and also empower other women to feel the same. It would be a massive honour and achievement to represent Great Britain and to be able to inspire women and young girls to believe that they can do anything with self-belief and confidence.”

Jaime Lee Faulkner Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Moving on to our next contender, we have the very adorable and childlike Jaime Lee Faulkner. She runs her own beauty salon and is also a qualified ski instructor. Jaime says, “Through my passion for pageants I have been lucky enough to travel the world, meet influential, inspiring people and make friends for life. Experiencing different cultures, raising awareness and funds for charity as well as witnessing the dangers our oceans face have been life-changing moments for me. ‘When woman support each other incredible things happen.’”

Jennifer Lamb Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Shifting our focus to the next contestant, we have the stunner with the stunner with a beautiful smile – Jennifer Lamb. Her ambition is to fly as cabin crew and her dream is to represent the UK and encourage women to make a difference. Jennifer says, “Entering the Miss Universe Great Britain pageant has given me a different outlook on life. I believe it encourages women to not only appreciate beauty but to be brave, confident and ambitious, an individual with a strong work ethic and a passion in everything you do. Jess Page Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Next in queue is hot and stunning Jess Page. 20 years old beauty from Liverpool is currently pursuing a marketing and events management degree. She has always had a passion for designing and making clothes. Jess says, “Everyone always asks me if I can do the haka tribal dance, unfortunately I can’t but I’d love to learn! I am currently an ambassador for Project Code Red, a charity that helps to provide homeless women with health and sanitary projects. I think it is important for women to support other women in all walks of life, and to not be envious but inspired. As a finalist in the competition this year, I hope to use that platform to continue the work I do.”

Katherine Elyse Blake Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Moving on to our next contender we have the beauty with modelisque features Katherine Elyse Blake. 26 years old Katherine aims to run her own nutricuetical/ nutricosmetic company in which a percentage of the profits will go to aid in the vital delivery of nutrients to third world countries. Katherine says, “Running is a huge passion of mine and last year I completed my first marathon, running for the most amazing charity-Children with Cancer. I love all that the Miss Universe GB pageant stands for. MUGB has taught me that they sky is the limit and that truly anything is possible. I wish to inspire this way of thinking and self-belief in others. I believe that Miss Universe GB provides such an incredible platform for both girls and charitable organisations and it would be such an honour to act as an ambassador and represent my incredible country on the international stage.”

Rachel Kiley Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Next in line is delicate beauty Rachel Kiley. Rachel is determined with a strong work ethic and doesn’t shy away from challenges. Rachel says, “My aspirations in life are to be a good person and my ambition is to become an educational psychologist. I feel privileged to be a part of such a prestigious pageant. If I were fortunate enough to win Miss Universe GB, I would work tirelessly to make my country proud. Promoting self-belief, teamwork and selflessness. Aiming to empower other women to make a positive impact on the world and achieve their dreams!”

Saffron Jade Corcoran Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Moving on to our next finalist, we have Saffron Jade Corcoran who is currently working full-time as a model. She is a keen lover of sports and played rugby during school. Saffron says, “I believe that every woman can and should be confidently beautiful and I believe I can be a relatable role model to many women in order to convey this message. I want to win Miss Universe Great Britain. I see myself as someone who is focused, gracious and hard-working while being humble and thankful throughout their reign. It has been my goal since I entered the world of pageantry four years ago to be on the Miss Universe stage representing my home, Great Britain.”

Stephanie Grao Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Shifting focus to the next contender we have Stephanie Grao who is a model and a business studies graduate. She feels blessed to have had the opportunity to have met different people and learn different cultures. Stephanie says, “I love travelling and modelling gives me the opportunity to travel all over the world. I love to help others and used to do volunteer work in a retirement home. I would love to do more work with charities. I am also an arts enthusiast. I love fashion and writing and am also a columnist at Every Model Magazine. I also enjoy acting and music and have studied some theatre and acting.”

Victoria Tooby Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 finalist

Last but not the least we have Victoria Tooby who is currently finishing her second year of law at Oxford Brooke's University. One of her aspirations is to be a barrister specialising in human rights law. Victoria says, “Winning the Miss Universe GB title would be one step towards achieving these goals, and would give me a perfect platform from which to promote the Miss Universe GB chosen charities of Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust and Sheroes Hangout in India. I aim to help boost the confidence of other women and encourage them to see that with hard work and support, that they too can broaden their horizons and achieve their aspirations in life. Although Great Britain has some of the most beautiful women in the world, we have never been lucky enough to have won the Miss Universe crown. If I were awarded the Miss Universe GB title, I would seek to change that statistic and make British pageant history.”
