Miss South Africa 2017 Top 5 Favourites
The gala coronation of Miss South Africa 2017 is on its road to the finale, and is scheduled to be held on 25th March 2017. The winner will represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2017 and Miss World 2017 pageant. The winner will also receive a cash prize, a car, an international holiday and other prizes in a package that exceeds 2 Million ZAR (equivalent to approximately USD 150,000). The reigning Miss South Africa is Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, and the beauty is all set to pass on her crown to her successor. Priyeshka Lutchman finalist Miss South Africa 2017
The first in the line of favourites is 24 year old Priyeshka Lutchman. Hailing from Yellowwood Park in Durban, Priyeshka is a business management student and model by profession. She likes to spend her spare time with friends enjoying long lunches and board games. She also enjoys listening to music, going to picnic and travelling to beautiful adventurous destinations.

Shane Naidoo finalist Miss South Africa 2017
Our next favourite contender for title is 24 year old Shane Naidoo. Shane is an industrial engineering student at the University of the Witwatersrand, and is set to graduate in 2016. Shane enjoys being outdoors and likes to stay fit and active. Shane loves trying out new restaurants and enjoys baking. She often spends her Sunday afternoon trying out new healthy recipes to satisfy her sweet tooth. Shane is not new to the pageantry world, and was a finalist in the Miss South Africa 2015 pageant.

Kayla Malherbe finalist Miss South Africa 2017
Next in the line of favourites is 21 year old Kayla Malherbe. Hailing from Mtunzini in Kwa Zulu Natal, for Kayla former Miss World Rolene Strauss is the epitome of beauty with a purpose. She wants to win the title of Miss South Africa in order to inspire the whole country to make a change for better. Kayla is passionate about children and often helps out at the small school in her home town.

Nicole van Niekerk finalist Miss South Africa 2017
Moving on to our next favourite contender for the title, we have 26 year old Nicole van Niekerk hailing from Môregloed in Pretoria. Nicole is an event planner who specialises in children’s parties, and is also a part time model. She likes spending time with her famile and her Labrador Kaylee. Nicole draws inspiration from her mother who got a degree when she was in her 50’s. The beauty admits to be terrified of heights. She is a vegetarian and her favourite meal is pasta mixed with an assortment of vegetables.

Nompumelelo Mampholo finalist Miss South Africa 2017
Last but not the least, we have 20 year old Nompumelelo Mampholo hailing from Diepkloof in Soweto. Nompumelelo is a shareholder in Conquerors, which is an event and management company. The beauty loves spending time with her family and friends, playing sports, going to the gym and reding inspirational books. She wants to use the Miss South Africa prize money to go back to school and complete her studies.
