Nadine Anna Pfaffeneder was crowned Miss Earth Austria 2020 on 15th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy is to stand up against pollution in the form of disposing waste in nature. She wants to raise awareness that the resources of the planet are fully occupied and limited, that is why we need to reuse and recycle the things that we already have more. Along with this, she wants to organize many cleanup projects and desires to bring the idea of “Earthship” homes to as many people as possible. Earthship homes are completely self-sufficient houses, that have their own energy and water supply cycle and are almost fully built out of recycled materials, which means that the CO2 emissions while building are reduced to a minimum compared to a normal housebuilding.

Mariia Reznyuk was appointed Miss Earth Belarus 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy is about standing up for the weaker ones, promoting anti-bullying and self-love. That includes awareness of the harm that other people due to our planet and educating people about the harm they doing. She is strongly against littering.

Kimbery Bosman was crowned Miss Earth Belgium 2020 on 25th January 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy is to spread awareness to reduce plastics as she believes that plastic is still a big issue. She believes that there are plenty alternatives for plastics but we don’t adapt them into our daily life. That’s why we should start using the alternatives now. Instead of using a plastic straw she suggests that we should just use a bamboo straw, or if you go to the grocery store bring your own eco bag. If we make this the new normal it will have a big difference for our environment. Our Earth will become greener and more plastic free.

Amina Hasanbegović was crowned Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina 2020 on 23rd August 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva is strong, confident, and determined to perform her best at the competition and make the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina proud. She is using the platform to use it for doing something good for the environment.

The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to stand for women´s right along with helping people in need, and taking care of the environment. She is very open, extrovert and great at communicating her opinions about everything.

Michala Rubinstein was appointed Miss Earth Denmark 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to promote good health & well-being responsible production & consumption. Her advocacy comes from her heart and follows her personal values and professional work. She explains that the fact that we see opportunities in working together in a more empathetic way, no matter where we are employed or which school we go to, is very close to my heart. If we as individuals, become better listeners and better at asking questions - then we will counter bullying at schools and in work environments. She also wants to advocate mental health, focusing on learning how to reduce assumptions and embrace differences at all levels in society. This is a behavioral approach to sustainability, that can be furthered by anything from books and teachers, to leadership traits trained at colleges and universities. Let us all focus on becoming stronger and raise the standards of how we interact, communicate, and grow as individuals.

Emila Lepomaki was appointed Miss Earth Finland 2020 on 13th August 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to help people to fight against bullying. She has wanted to listen to children and be there for them and it is not something taken for granted that children have those reliable adults in their life. She also wants to encourage everyone to chase their dreams and not to quit. For her, it is also important to be a natural role model and press the idea that natural beauty is valuable. Be yourself, you are enough. In environmental issues, she is worried about the seas and rubbishing. The seas are polluted and filled with plastic. We really should reduce our usage of plastic and unnecessary shopping. We need to take care of the nature. Our beautiful nature keeps us alive.

With Miss Earth 2020 platform, she would be using that to educate and create awareness about her environmental advocacy and making her mark at the beauty pageant world. She believes that people shouldn’t compare themselves to other people, you can get insecure. She is confident, passionate, and very grateful for the organization of Miss Earth Italy for believing in her and trusting her with the title especially during such tough times.

Tessa le Conge was appointed Miss Earth Netherlands 2020 on 22nd May 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is about shifting the culture in a way that benefits climate action and nature with COVID-19’s influence. She believes that to build a green economy by sharing ideas that could help the community to build regenerative cultures once the economy starts up again. In times like these with the ongoing pandemic Tessa thinks that it’s more relevant than ever to show we can transform from this crisis, with new compassion and change of bad ecological habits. From our losses, there will be scars, but from our experience there may be new cultures that define a healthier greener earth. She believes she has the strength to guide people through that transformation, sharing knowledge and love for our mother earth.

The diva’s advocacy is to set the example of environmental protection for the rest of the world to follow. She wants to spread environmental awareness through her voice, presence, and actions towards a better future. The main responsibility of us humans is to protect, respect and preserve the nature from afflictions that are caused by humans. It is important to educate people that the physical environment is fragile and that we must start taking actions to save our Mother Earth and create a brighter future for our children. There are numerous ways to promote environmental awareness through videos, articles, seminars, books etc. She is willing to find opportunities to participate in communal projects, to get involved in existing environmental actions and to create her own projects and activities to engage in her community, friends, and others to save our home.

Ella Baker-Roberts was announced Miss Earth United Kingdom 2020 on 29th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy is “Extinction Recognition”; to help restore the Earths biodiversity and make conservation more accessible and engaging for everyone. She is ready to launch her platform internationally, encouraging communities to focus on restoring their own biodiversity before it’s too late. By working hard to restore biodiversity globally and make conservation more accessible and engaging we will be able to create the next generation of eco angels who will be able to protect our planet when we are no longer able to. Everything about her advocacy will lead her to Miss Earth and she looks forward to what else lays ahead.
