The diva’s advocacy for the competition is about educating and creating awareness about the habits that one should include in their daily lives. She explains that the book, ‘the power of habit’ tells us what a great role habits play in our lives and we can conclude that as many good habits we develop, as better our life quality will be. That’s why she is trying to turn her actions into habits to reach her goals in more effective way.

Meghna Alam was crowned Miss Earth Bangladesh 2020 on 5th October 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to reach out to people's hearts for radical change in society and focus on environmental change. She shared on her social media “My dream is to have women and men equally recognized in every profession, including agriculture, in my lifetime. Women play a huge role in the global food production process; however, their contribution remains unrefined and unpublished.”

Sothnisay Heng was appointed Miss Earth Cambodia 2020 on 25th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is about Youth Education. She wants to encourage young women in Cambodia to pursue higher education and her determination enables her to manage her time in school and at work as External Relations Officer for an NGO in Phnom Penh that focuses on underprivileged high school students to pursue a higher education.

Jie Ding was appointed Miss Earth China 2020 on 24th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to raise the consciousness of protecting the earth. She feels that she has a platform where she can use her voice and opinion to make the environmental conditions in her community.

Tanvi Nitin Kharote Miss Earth India 2020

Tanvi Nitin Kharote was appointed Miss Earth India 2020 on 30th August 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is operating on clean energy harvested through solar power with her father’s visionary, at their firm, ‘Samartha Solar’. In doing so, she wants to generate awareness about clean and sustainable reservoirs of energy in lieu of burning our limited fossil fuels. She feels that she needs to give back to the community and simultaneously bring about a definite change in the environment. She wants to take her solar energy project to rural areas as she works tirelessly with her father. The duo has been able to set up projects like solar streetlights, solar-powered water pumps, grid-tie systems, bio gas plants and more.

Safira Rumimper was appointed Miss Earth Indonesia 2020 on 15th September 2020 is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is about Plastic Movement: a youth driven campaign that promotes responsible plastic use. Plastic movement works hard to raise public awareness about plastic responsibility. The organization has held several public cleaning projects and has collaborated with the local government to reduce plastic water bottle usage. Safira’s advocacy has 1000+ environmental aware members, and continues to grow.

Anna Tode was crowned Miss Earth Japan 2020 on 16th September and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva believe that we can solve many other world problems as well by solving environmental problems. One of the major features of solving environmental problems is that the target is not humans but natural things. Other SDGs issues such as poverty, medical care, and education are issuing that people must do for others, so she believes there will be a considerable difference in the positions of those who help and those who are helped. However, environmental problems have a natural target, and everyone involved can tackle them on an equal position. Therefore, I think that the world can be united to solve environmental problems, and by doing so, other problems such as poverty, medical care, and education can be better solved.

Dayana Soulayman was appointed as Miss Earth Lebanon 2020 on 24th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is about Children’s rights. She believes that kids and new born baby are the reason and an alert for us to remember the unconditional love and the beauty of the innocent soul, they awaken us to love more, give more and be always kind to each other.

Win Lei Lei Naing Miss Earth Myanmar 2020

Win Lei Lei Naing was appointed Miss Earth Myanmar 2020 on 1st September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to advocate for the sustainability of Ayeyarwady river. She strongly feels that there is a significant increase of pollutants in the Ayeyarwady river, the lifeblood of her country. She explains that people along the river used to throw away plastics daily and the chemical waste products by factories cause pollution of Ayeyarwady river. As one of the major consequences, the rare wildlife species, called Ayeyarwady Dolphins are going extinct. She is going to educate people and raise awareness for the protection of Ayeyarwady river and its consequences.

Roxanne Allison Baeyens was crowned Miss Earth Philippines 2020 on 5th July 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to create awareness and educate people about Urban Gardening and Agriculture in the community. She feels that the cities are no longer green and we as individuals must start making decision in according to the environment. She is inspired by her mother who is an environmentalist and wanted to continue her legacy as the family strongly believes in making a change in the society.

The diva’s advocacy aims to use her platform to be the voice for the voiceless. She also advocates about women empowerment and mentions that women should not listen to the society and do what they believe in and that’s the power they have.

Christina Cai was appointed Miss Earth Singapore 2020 on 22nd August 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to reduce plastic pollution as it does not just threaten our marine life but it is accelerating the rate of climate change. Our planet is drowning in plastic where single-use plastic products are everywhere and integral to many lives. We need to slow the flow of plastic at its source, but we also need to improve the way we manage our plastic waste. It is time to understand that the key to protecting the earth begins from home through environmental education. She believes that no matter where you come from, what language you speak or the color of your skin, this is our home, our earth, our responsibility. She wants to inspire and educate people more on how to reduce, reuse, recycle and respect the environment as without respect, we will not be able to rethink what to do to save the environment.

Teeyapar Sretsirisuvarna was appointed Miss Earth Thailand 2020 on 18th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020. The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to invite everyone to refresh themselves and our earth together to engage in solving the ongoing environmental problems by reducing waste and pollution. Furthermore, creating a greener and cleaner environment for our earth by changing our daily lives and see the importance of recycling. Our planet is in danger as humans are destroying our planet everyday by creating waste in the water system and oceans, polluting the air, and destroying nature, which have led to global warming, forest fires and landfill of waste. The reason she wants to promote her advocacy and protect the environment is to promote the importance of “recycling food and plastic waste” because they can be used again for other purposes in order to reduce waste and the use of raw materials. Therefore, we must all engage and promote the 5 R in our daily lives to help save the earth together.

The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to find a balance between human and Mother Earth. She wants to raise awareness for people and urge them to take actions to preserve the environment. She believes that mother earth is also our home and we must change our behaviour of consumption, she wants the people to take the action towards material sharing, reducing waste, organic consumption, biodiversity protection, saving energy and water and recycling.
