Cayman Islands has been competing at Miss Universe since 1980 but has not made the cut to semi-finals even for a single time, similarly the country marked its debut at Miss World in 1977 and has made the cut only twice. This year eight contestants are vying for the title of Miss Cayman Islands. The finale is slated to be held on January 30’ 2016 and the winner will represent the island nation at both Miss World 2016 and Miss Universe 2016.
