The grand slam finale of Miss Gabon 2015 held on April 26’ 2015 came to an end with Reine Ngotala, hailing from Nyanga crowned as the Miss Universe Gabon 2015. Reine succeeds to Miss Gabon 2014, Maggal Nguema, the outgoing queen and will now represent Gabon at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Christine Pitty Yaya hailing from Haut-Ogooue was adjudged first runner-up and will now represent Gabon at Miss World 2015 pageant.

The finals of Miss Gabon 2015 pageant are scheduled to be held on April 25' 2015, when the reigning queen, Miss Universe Gabon 2015, Maggaly Nguema will crown her successor from amongst the eighteen finalists competing. The winner will go on to represent Gabon at Miss Universe 2015.

The Miss Universe 2014 contestants walked in their respective gowns during the Preliminary Competition for evening gown round, held on January 21, 2015 in Florida, Miami, where reigning Miss Universe, Gabriela Isler, co-hosted the event.

Asha Bhat from India is Miss Supranational 2014. Asha Bhat has created history; she has been crowned as the Miss Supranational 2014. This is India’s first title at the Miss Supranational pageant. At the finals coronation night of Miss Supranational 2014 pageant held tonight at Krynica Zdroj, Poland, the outgoing Miss Supranational, Mutya Johanna Datul, crowned the ecstatic Asha Bhat as the Miss Supranational 2014. Asha Bhat emerged as a clear favourite with her stunning performance at the pageant. She was the top choice for winning the title by several pageant experts. Asha Bhat was the second runner-up at Miss Diva Universe 2014, from there she took on the successful journey towards the coveted title.India had high hopes of winning its first ever Supranational title and Asha did not let down. Asha has a very impressive personality; she is an engineering student, a skilled Bharatnatyam dancer, a choreographer, a dancer, an excellent singer and plays Veena too. She also excels in shooting. The list of her talents seem to be endless, Asha Bhat is multitalented beauty who truly deserved to win the crown! Asha also received the ‘Miss Talent’ award, having won the ‘Best Talent’ competition. She gave a mesmerising performance on the medley of three Bollywood songs namely ‘Kajra re’ from the movie ‘Bunty and Bubli’, ‘nagada sang dhol baaje’ from the movie ‘Ramleela’ and ‘Yaar Na Miley’ from the movie ‘Kick’ presenting three forms of dance which were Belly Dancing, Bollywood and traditional Indian Garba. The act performed by Asha was choreographed by Khush Numa Daruvalla. On the final night Asha walked gracefully in her white evening gown and looked every bit of a fairy tale princess. Her court includes - Parapadsorn Disdamrong from Thailand - First runner up Maggaly Ornellia Emmanuelle Nguema from Gabon- Second runner up Allyn Rose from United States of America - Third runner up Katarzyna Krzeszowska from Poland - Fourth runner up

Asha Bhat from India has won the ‘Best Talent’ round in Miss Supranational 2014 taking place in Poland. She gave an outstanding performance on the medley of three Bollywood songs namely ‘Kajra re’ from the movie ‘Bunty and Bubli’, ‘nagada sang dhol baaje’ from the movie ‘Ramleela’ and ‘Yaar Na Miley’ from the movie ‘Kick’ presenting three forms of dance which were Belly Dancing, Bollywood and traditional Indian Garba. The act performed by Asha was choreographed by Khush Numa Daruvalla.She competed with 71 other contenders. The competition was neck to neck but still Asha managed to bag 1st position because of her hard work and immense talent. At the same event, Maggaly Ornellia Emmanuelle Nguema from Gabon was 1st runner up, Helena Hanni from Estonia was 2nd runner up, Yvonne Amores from Australia was 3rd runner up and Barbera Marrero from Puerto Rico was 4th runner up. Asha is a student of R.V college of Engineering in Bangalore. She is a skilled Bharatnatyam dancer, member of NCC delegation from SAARC nations that visited Srilanka, a Veena player, choreographs flash mobs and also excels in shooting. Must say, the girl is a complete package having beauty with brains mixed with a flavor of hard work and dedication.With a talent like that, let’s see if Asha Bhat would be able to clinch the Miss Supranational title for India.
